Create your own NCAA Football 09 cover at Sam’s Club

Remember all those posts I did on EA’s staggered reveals of the coverboys for the different console versions of NCAA Football 09? Well, if you’re planning on picking up the game at Sam’s Club, none of that is going to matter. Check Out, a blog from a group of techie Wal-Mart/Sam’s Club employees, announced a very special exclusive artwork program today.

For no additional charge, you can choose from a selection of college mascot images to use as your own personal cover for NCAA Football 09. If you check out the gallery below, for example, you’ll see that one of the options is the Notre Dame leprechaun; while Sam’s Club says that they “cannot have every mascot option available,” there will still be a wide array of images.

As long as your local Sam’s Club has a Photo Center, you’ll be able to take advantage of this exclusive offer; Sam’s Club will be the only retailer with official EA alternative cover images. Head on over to your area’s store on July 15th to pick up your personalized copy of NCAA Football 09.
