Vroom vroom: GRID demo racing to XBLA, PSN, and PC this week

According to Codemaster’s official Web site, a demo for their upcoming racer, GRID, will be making its way to “all the non-handheld formats” this week. Translation: a GRID demo will be available for the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 over the next few days (a Nintendo DS version of the title is also in the works).

The demo will have three events to compete in, allowing you to test drive a Ford Mustang GT-R in San Francisco, a Nissan S15 Silvia in Japan, and BMW 320si touring car in Jarama, Spain. This doesn’t necessarily appeal to me — I own two or three of each of those cars — but poor people might be interested in taking these virtual cars for a ride in places they’ll never go.

GRID is set to hit stores on June 3. Vroom vroom.
