Pelican Town recreated in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Seeing Stardew Valley’s Pelican Town in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a trip

When worlds collide, my brain breaks

You know how you can play a game for so long, you eventually reach this point where you accidentally sleepwalk your way through the map? All of a sudden, you come to, and realize you’ve arrived at your destination — but you don’t remember the journey at all.

That’s how I feel about Pelican Town in Stardew Valley, and even though I’ve been on a long break, that’s also how I feel about my island layout in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

With that in mind, this clip from Reddit user acnh_kaylee broke my brain a bit.

It’s a stroll from Pam’s trailer — past Dusty’s dog house, Pierre’s General Store, and the clinic — over to the bus stop. Except, wait a sec, this isn’t Pelican Town.

I’m tripped out.

According to the creator, this tribute island is “still a work-in-progress,” but they’ll continue “sharing finished sections.” Until then, there’s no Dream Address to give out yet.
