THQ Gamer’s Day: I don’t like embargoes or United Airlines

Recommended Videos

By now, you may have already read my impressions of Saints Row 2, or my verbal orgasm over Volition’s other title, Red Faction: Guerilla. At last night’s THQ Gamer’s Day that took place in San Francisco’s Terra event space, I had a chance to go hands on with these games and more.

But here’s the thing — all of the information was embargoed until today at 5 pm PST, the exact time that the Internet goes home for the weekend. Couple that with the fact that United Airlines delayed my flight out of San Francisco, I missed my connecting flight, and spent most of the day fighting crowds … what do you people want from me? I was on a plane when this embargo was lifted. Sheesh.

So coming this Monday, I’ll be posting screens and info on all (or most) of the games THQ were showing … and there were a lot. I’m talking games like Baja, de Blob, Deadly Creatures, Destroy All Humans: Path of the Furon, Darksiders, and Battle of the Bands. In short, THQ’s line-up was looking pretty good, and I’m not just saying that because they were serving the fanciest, most killer tasting macaroni and cheese I’ve ever tasted.

Now, I go to sleep.
