So the new Nintendo dream island is finally open for business in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it’s fairly easy to access.
While it’s nothing to write home about within the confines of the game, it does get you a quick and easy Mario mission completion. Here’s a quick runthrough.
If you haven’t played New Horizons in a while (raises hand), just boot it up and head to your house. Roll into bed and select the prompt to actually go to sleep and not just lay there (too real).
After that, you’ll enter the dream realm. Select “Search by Dream Address” from the prompt. Then enter the code [DA-6382-1459-4417] for the “Ninten” island. Note that “DA-” is automatically part of the string, you just need to put in the numbers.
From there, you’ll wake up in Ninten island and you should be good to go for clearing the Mario mission “Visit the official Nintendo Island in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons game.” Just to make sure, I’d go back to sleep on the bed, head home, and then save your game.
Note that you will “receive credit for the mission within seven days of the event ending.” Given that it ends on March 24 at 7:59AM PT, it’s going to be a while until you actually see the fruits of your labor. Also note that you have until then to actually get it done!
