EA hasn’t forgotten about Road Rash fans, but what’s the hold up?

Sorry SNES fans, but do you recall all of the great games that the Sega Genesis used to offer? A few come to mind, but one of my personal favorites was an old EA title called Road Rash. It was one of those games that two people could play together (while on the same screen..gasp!), and have one hell of a good time in the process.

Well it looks like we aren’t any closer to seeing a new Road Rash game, but thanks to GameDaily’s recent interview with EA’s John Riccitiello, we at least can cry ourselves to sleep at night knowing that the game was not completely forgotten:

“We think about those franchises a lot. Road Rash is one that keeps coming up in brainstorming sessions. EA has created so many great titles, it’s tough to keep up with them all. I wish we could make those games but the truth is that there are more good ideas in this industry than there are skilled, experienced people to turn them into games.”
