TennoCon goes all-digital due to COVID-19

At least it’s not TennoGone like E3

Another day, another gaming event changing things up due to the threat of COVID-19, more widely known as the coronavirus. This time, it’s TennoCon, the annual convention about all things Warframe. I was able to go last year and it was a great deal of fun if also incredibly hot and muggy anytime I stepped outside of the convention hall. Summers in London, Canada are not kind to big fellows like me.

Sadly, attending in person won’t be an option this year. Developer Digital Extremes announced on the game’s website that TennoCon 2020 will be an all-digital event. It will still happen on the originally scheduled date, July 11, and the developers are looking into ways to support local charities even without attendees being physically at the event.
