After months of tantalizing production updates from the fine folks at Hyperchild, the Mass Effect: Commander Shepard figure has finally been revealed. Beginning in November, Hyperchild have walked us step by step through painstaking production process, and unlike other figures with epic development timelines, doesn’t disappoint in the least.
Granted, this isn’t the Commander Shepard of your own creation, a slight drawback completely compensated for by dint of the attention paid to the most minute details and obvious craftsmanship that have gone into the piece. And really, if you want a statue of a character you’ve created there are other places you can go to accomplish that.
Look for Commander Shepard to be released some time this Summer in a limited run of 2500 figures, though just how much he’ll run you remains a mystery.
