Nintendo capped off today’s Indie World showcase with a surprise sequel: Axiom Verge 2.
During the pre-recorded stream, Axiom Verge creator Tom Happ thanked fans for showing his metroidvania game so much love over the years. We saw a bit of the sequel, which retains the (intentional) glitch-driven gameplay of the first game but has a lot more going on, visually speaking.
Axiom Verge 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch in fall 2020.
