If you’re as anxious to play Mercenaries 2: World In Flames as I am, this news is going to sting badly: the game has been officially delayed again. Shacknews has gotten word straight from EA that we won’t be able to get our hands on Mercenaries 2 until somewhere in the April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009 time frame.
What if Mercenaries 2 isn’t released until 2009? Unlikely as it may be, think back to when we thought the game would be out in time for the 07 Holiday season. If some unfortunate event causes such a long delay to occur, Pandemic, your game better have a Miyamoto-esque level of polish to it, or else!
