Dying Light 2, a video game that doesn’t yet have a firm launch date, is already promising years and years worth of add-ons. Assuming it launches sometime in spring 2020, Techland’s open-world zombie survival sequel will be supported through 2024.

In an interview with Prankster101, Dying Light 2 lead designer Tymon Smektala shares Techland’s DLC approach. “Dying Light was supported for four years after its release, and the plan for Dying Light 2 is exactly the same,” Smektala says. The Polish developer just wants to stick to that level of support because it kept the community thriving through the life of the first game.

Besides, it doesn’t sound as though Dying Light 2 will be hurting for content when it launches. Smektala estimates that it’d take around 100 hours to see everything in the sequel, even though the critical path tops out at 15 to 20 hours. This is a game that’s designed to be big and to keep people playing,
