Obsidian is carving out time for The Outer Worlds DLC

The story isn’t done

If you aren’t ready to leave Parvati and [your second-favorite companion] behind, heads up: Obsidian is working on DLC for The Outer Worlds – the good kind, I mean. The story-centric kind.

“To all of those who voted for us in The Game Awards, you are all fantastic and we are so grateful for your support,” said social media manager Shyla. (It was nominated in four categories, but didn’t win.)

“The reception to The Outer Worlds has been unbelievable to see, and even just being nominated means a lot,” Shyla continued. “However, the journey isn’t over yet as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year! Details will be made available at a later date.”

DLC for a game like this could hit the spot. Remember Old World Blues for Fallout: New Vegas? I haven’t finished The Outer Worlds yet, but it’s calling my name, especially as we near the holiday break.

A Special Thank You From Obsidian [Obsidian]
