You can get a feel for Doraemon Story of Seasons with the Switch demo

The full game is out today on PC and Nintendo Switch

If you’re worried that the day-to-day farming-life gameplay loop of Doraemon Story of Seasons might not live up to its charming painterly aesthetic, well, I’m right there with you. That’s what demos are for! The game released today on Steam and Nintendo Switch, and the latter version has a demo.

From what I’ve seen of the Japanese eShop demo, you can easily sink an hour into the trial.

Even if you aren’t super familiar with the Doraemon manga or anime, this is definitely worth a look for Harvest Moon fans. I haven’t done any farming or fishing on my Switch in a while, come to think of it.

And if this doesn’t end up being quite what you were looking for as a spin-off game based on an existing IP, I’d expect concessions there’s always the Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town remake.
