Cross-platform play will be included in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

A surprising development

Tokyo Game Show kicks off this Thursday but already companies are dropping trailers for some highly-anticipated, upcoming games. Last night, Square Enix showed off its latest trailer for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition that details some of the new features players can expect from it. In addition to online co-op, new dungeons and bosses, and new voice-overs, the trailer also confirms we will be able to team up across platforms with the cross-play function.

Only problem: It doesn’t specify which platforms will utilize the feature.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will launch on January 23, 2020, for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. Hopefully, cross-platform play is implemented for all versions of this game. I’d hate to see those who buy it on one specific console be kept out of the fun.
