Vampire: The Masquerade returning as a ‘narrative RPG’

What music they make

Publisher BigBen Interactive announced in a tweet (which has since been removed) that they are working with studio Big Bad Wolf to produce a “narrative RPG” based on popular tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade.

Details are scant, but it is believed that the new title will be more in adherence to the rules and atmosphere of the tabletop edition, as opposed to the action RPG titles that have been released in the past – such as Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. Big Bad Wolf previously worked on the episodic game The Council, which tells a grim tale of secret societies and occult killings, so we know that they are one with the shadows.

More information is expected at Gamescom 2019, which takes place in Cologne in August.
