Cities: Skylines is out today for Nintendo Switch

A little city management might just hit the spot on Nintendo Switch. During today’s Nintendo Direct, Paradox and Tantalus announced a surprise release for Cities: Skylines – Nintendo Switch Edition.

The new version sports a user interface “designed especially for Nintendo Switch” and includes two expansions: the nightlife-focused After Dark and the chilly Snowfall. It’s out today for $40. The port isn’t particularly smooth performance-wise, but it seems playable enough given the game’s pace.

This Switch release is a first for Paradox, and I’m curious what else could be on the way.
