Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice rises on Nintendo Switch next week

Developer Ninja Theory has announced that the Nintendo Switch release of sombre adventure game Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be made available to purchase next Thursday, April 11. This port follows the title’s successful releases on PS4, PC and Xbox One in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

Hellblade is the grim tale of a young Pict warrior’s journey to the mystic land of Helheim, where she must her dead lover’s soul from the possessive Hela. The game received acclaim upon release for its interesting use of mythology, as well as its approach to its themes of mental illness pertaining to its strong and magnetic protagonist.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will be made available for download April 11, priced around $30. You can check out a trailer for the PS4 version below.
