MORTAL KOMBAT *techno music*

It’s the weekend! not only that, but its the end of March. April already, can you believe it? It’s been a fairly low-key week for me, even with this country embroiled in political turmoil. I’ve just sat in my bubble with movies and games, surfacing to throw shade at the government’s ineptitude.

When it comes video games, most of my time has been taken up with the beta of NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11. I’ve dallied with all of the characters, online and off and I’ll have a few words to say about it soon. Some of it I like a lot, some of it, not so much. There’s also some praise to be given to some strange and surprising features that some people may not have considered.

That’s enough from me. Let’s hear from you. We’re spoiled for choice right now, do you know there’s been seven UK number ones since 2019 began? Seven! So what are all of you playing this week? Devil May Cry 5? Sekiro? Maybe you’ve joined me in MK 11’s blood-filled arena, or maybe you’re just chilling with something else. Whatever you’re hitting, let us know!

Have a wonderful weekend, from all of us at Destructoid.
