Who listens to the Howard Stern show for videogame news? Well, probably the same people who are excited for a new Leisure Suit Larry game. Stern cohort and actor/comedian Artie Lange revealed yesterday that he had recently landed a deal to do some voice work as “Big Al,” a character that will appear in a new Leisure Suit Larry title.

Larry’s last foray into the videogame world was an awful collection of mini-games and stale sex jokes, that was a far cry from the point-and-click adventures that made the PC game popular in the 80s and early-90s. The recent success of Sam and Max should be reason enough for Sierra (Larry‘s publisher) to greenlight a traditional point-and-click adventure.

For now, Sierra isn’t talking, so we’ll just to have to wait and see if this pans out. We somehow doubt there will be many tears if it doesn’t.
