Contest: Win a Switch copy of The Adventure Pals from Super Rare Games!

Super Sold Out!

Recommended Videos

Grab your pals for this contest to win a physical copy of Super Rare Games’ The Adventure Pals!

I love physical copies of games. You love physical copies of games. Everyone loves physical copies of games. That’s why our good friends over at Super Rare Games have partnered with Dtoid to give the people what they want — super rare physical releases of games!

How’s sold out sound for rare? Well, The Adventure Pals is sold out through Super Rare Games. You can’t buy it!

…but you can win it. So get on that.

The Adventure Pals is probably the cutest damned thing I’ve ever seen. Massive Monster’s cartoonish platformer sees you set out for adventure with your best pals, a giraffe and a rock, to stop your dad from turning into a hot dog.

And I’m not telling you any more about the game because if that doesn’t sell it for you, then you don’t deserve to win it.

*checks contract*

Ok, so I do have to keep telling you about it, but only because I signed a contract saying I would. RPG-like elements like NPC quests and unlockable abilities will enthrall you; hidden stickers to unlock special costumes will delight you; and using your giraffe friend as a helicopter will confound you. It’s really got everything, and without me even playing it it’s already my favorite game ever.

The special Super Rare Games release comes with:

  • Fully assembled Nintendo Switch game with cartridge
  • Interior art
  • Full-colour 20 page manual
  • Exclusive sticker
  • 3 card trading card pack

I haven’t been this giddy in a while.

To enter to win, use the widget below to drop your name and email address. That’s it — you’re entered! You can repeat daily for additional entries. For super special bonus entries, follow Dtoid and Super Rare Games on Twitter and share our contest post with your friends. Especially if your friends are a rock and a giraffe.

For fun, tell us about your friends in the comments below. My only friend right now is Nala, a 7-year-old shar pei I’m fostering. She can’t use her tongue as a helicopter, but she can sleep for hours on end without moving a single inch. Sometimes I poke her just to see if she’s alive. She’s like a rock, but poops!

We have one copy of the game to give away. Since it ships direct from SRG in the UK, there are no shipping restrictions — if you can receive mail, you can win this game! You as the winner assume any and all fees, hassle, liabilities, etc that comes with receiving a package, so do not enter if you do not agree to these terms. Our winner will be drawn on Friday, February 1.

Check out Super Rare Games’ website for upcoming physical releases like The Adventure Pals! And head over to Nintendo Enthusiast for more chances to win!
