General bug fixes are coming to Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection next week

Curiously not the PC version

The current version of the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is fairly solid, but a few issues with online play still remain. Next week, Capcom will be issuing a patch on October 23 that hopefully squashes those bugs on consoles. PC users, for some reason, are left out of the mix.

In a post on the Capcom Unity blog, the patch notes for each console iteration basically reads the same. The Switch version is getting a few more tweaks to allow for cross-region friend matches, but otherwise, this update will be adding “general fixes” and “text and asset corrections.” It isn’t a huge update, but one that should smooth things out.

The full patch notes are below:

Nintendo Switch:

Online Improvements:

  • Improving online capabilities and ability to host lobbies
  • Friends between the Japanese and international versions can locate one another’s lobbies
  • General fixes

Localization Fixes:

  • Updated Japanese strings
  • Corrections to Korean Photosensitivity Warning

Training Mode Improvements: Multiple fixes have been made to improve dummy behavior.

Audio Improvements: Stereo playback improvements for Street Fighter III titles.

Museum Updates: Text and asset corrections have been applied.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One:

Localization Fixes:
