Return to Pandora with Borderlands 2 VR

PSVR Exclusive

With fans eagerly awaiting news of Borderlands 3, 2K Games and Gearbox have finally announced a new Borderlands related project. Time to dust off that PSVR headset of yours, because on December 14, 2018, you’ll be able to return to the world of Pandora in Borderlands 2 VR. Yup, this is totally not the sequel fans have been waiting for!

Retailing for $49.99 (!), pre-orders will net you a dynamic PS4 theme featuring the four heroes of the game. There is no mention if this is the GOTY version with all the extra expansions, though I imagine it would be. One new feature is something Gearbox is calling BAMF (Bad Ass Mega Funtime). This will allow players to slow down time and better aim their shots. Teleporting is also a feature or those using the PS Move controllers.

Apart from those small additions, this is basically just Borderlands 2 again. Maybe VR dramatically changes the experience, but I’m not sure how many people are dying to get up close and personal with Clap-Trap.
