Insomniac Games, via the official PlayStation blog have announced a launch date for their upcoming Spider-Man title. The PS4 exclusive will be web-slinging your way September 7.

Though zero new info was forthcoming regarding the game itself, we have been given an abundance of pre-order and special edition info. Spider-Man will be available as a $80 Digital Deluxe Edition, complete with a code for the game, a variety of DLC – including characters skins, PSN/Dashboard items and post-release content – and a pin-badge that will be posted out to you.

Rich, Kingpin-types, however, might want to bag themselves the $150 Collector’s Edition. This comes with all of the DLC content from the Digital Deluxe Edition, but also includes a steelbook casing (“including full game”, but no confirmation of a physical disc), a large sticker of the Spidey logo, a mini-artbook and a to-be-unveiled statue of the wall-crawler himself, tailored by Gentle Giant.

More details about the game will be revealed in the upcoming May issue of Game Informer magazine. Spider-Man launches on PS4 on September 7. Pre-orders for the above editions are now open.
