AU $5.95 and NZ $6.55
For those of you who haven’t been following along, Nintendo’s online service plans for the Switch were confirmed some time ago, after nebulous word that some form of premium online service would arrive by the end of 2017. It’s now confirmed for September, and will run you $3.99 a month or $19.99 a year in the US.
Other regions will have their own pricing schemes that may or may not match up with that though, and this week Nintendo unveiled their pricepoints for Australia and New Zealand — it’s going to be AU $5.95 and NZ $6.55 per month or AU $29.95 and NZ $32.95 for a year.
As a reminder it’ll be required for online play (mostly Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe) and will come with the small bonus of a limited “classic game selection.”
