Arena of Valor’s Nintendo Switch beta starts soon

Signups are open and you can get an exclusive skin

The mega-popular mobile MOBA Arena of Valor is inching closer to a Nintendo Switch release and if you missed signing up for the closed beta, there’s still time to do so. Tencent has locked in dates for the first North American beta — it’ll begin next Thursday, June 28 and run until July 12. European players had a chance to participate in a prior beta and are still welcome to play in this latest test.

Since the last beta, the developers have retouched the user interface and made other graphical changes based on feedback. Everyone who plays will earn an exclusive skin for the mage Krixi.

My MOBA days are mostly behind me, but I’d be curious to try this on Switch for the heck of it.
