We’re almost ready to learn some new stuff about one of the Final Fantasy XV boys. Square Enix has revealed at PlayStation’s Paris Games Week event that Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis will release on December 13.

Accompanying the news is this trailer that shows some of the trouble that Ignis is about to get up to. On the musical side of things, JRPG will be excited to know that Yasunori Mitsuda has been confirmed as the composer. He’s most well-known for his Chrono Trigger score, and now he’s working on Final Fantasy for the first time. The trailer has the episode’s main theme in it.

Also on the Final Fantasy front, Square Enix shared another look at virtual reality fishing expansion Monsters of the Deep. We’ll add that trailer when it’s uploaded. Ignis is probably a master angler, but he’s got more interesting stuff going on.
