Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Company of Heroes studio Relic Entertainment is on board for the long-awaited Age of Empires IV. Details are light and the attached trailer doesn’t show any gameplay, but just knowing who’s developing the game has fired up my imagination. I can picture it!

Microsoft announced that in addition to Age of Empires: Definitive Edition (which is coming to Windows 10 on October 19), Age of Empires II and III will also see remastered versions. You can expect 4K support, an overhauled user interface, updated assets, and even some gameplay enhancements.

This news came out of an hour-long Age of Empires stream that’s archived here.

Good to see this series back in the limelight.
