New Arms fighter looks like they’re wearing Hammer pants

Grainy footage of the next combatant

Arms. In this post-Splatoon 2 world, are you still playing it? I’m not, but that’s because I don’t own the game. Or a Switch. But more than one million people have bought it and next year at Evo Japan it will be one of the featured titles, so hopefully, Switch owners will still be into it once that rolls around.

One way to keep us goldfish interested is with new fighters. Nintendo promised content would be added to the game post-launch and last night the Arms Twitter page gave us our first look at the next combatant to enter the fray.

Man, I didn’t realize the Switch had such awful resolution!

Not the best video but I have no doubt we’ll be seeing something a bit clearer from Nintendo soon. In the meantime, I’m just going to pretend this character is rocking some serious Hammer pants. Or they killed Helix and made pants out of… it, I guess.
