You don’t have to be a weird nude Muppet man in Nidhogg 2

You can also be a weird *clothed* Muppet *person*!

Much has been said about Nidhogg 2‘s art direction. Much more will be said.

I understand  the complaints, but for my part, I think the fleshy visuals have an odd charm to them — sort of like those gross-out close-ups in Ren & Stimpy (or SpongeBob SquarePants, if you prefer).

If you aren’t down with the so-called “naked Muppet” designs, there will actually be a way around that, at least to a certain extent. As announced today, Nidhogg 2 will offer character customization.

Nidhogg 2 is on track for a summer release on PC and PlayStation 4. Let’s get ugly, y’all.
