I do love a good surprise launch. The mind-bending mobile puzzler Monument Valley now has a follow-up and it’s out today on iOS as a timed exclusive, priced at $4.99.
Despite this being a full-on numbered sequel, developer ustwo says “you don’t need to have previously played Monument Valley to enjoy Monument Valley 2.” This time, players will “guide a mother and her child as they embark on a journey through magical architecture, discovering illusionary pathways and delightful puzzles as you learn the secrets of the Sacred Geometry.”
Considering Monument Valley 2 was unveiled earlier today at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, I suspect we won’t be seeing it on Android all that soon.
