Square Enix announced that NieR: Automata has eclipsed 1.5 million sales worldwide, including both digital downloads and physical shipments.

Impressive numbers for series that was once quite niche. That PlatinumGames magic at work perhaps? I still need to play this game once I finally beat Breath of the Wild. Along with 20 other games released in the past eight months.
