Discs of Tron on XBLA this Wednesday

Just one lonely Xbox Live Arcade title has been announced for next week: Discs of Tron (400 Microsoft Points). You’re probably having déjà vu at this point — that’s because this will actually be the second Tron game to hit XBLA.

While Discs of Tron may be nostalgic and enticing for some, tweaked audio and visuals aren’t nearly enough to make me want to play this “arcade classic.”

But should you be looking forward to Discs of Tron, you may be pleased to know that Backbone Entertainment included co-op and versus modes — something that wasn’t available in the original version of the game.

Who knows, maybe another Live Arcade game will be announced for next Wednesday (it’s happened before). If not, things are looking mighty bleak for Topher.
