Nintendo Switch releases on March 3 for $300

We finally know. Nintendo kicked off the Switch event by answering the biggest remaining question marks: When it comes out and how much it costs.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima revealed that the Switch releases on March 3, 2017 at a price of $300. That date applies to the United States, Japan, major countries in Europe, Canada, Hong Kong, and “other territories.” The price in Japan is 29,980 yen; Kimishima told European audiences to check with their local retailers.

There you have it, folks. Three c-notes and it’s less than two months away.
