Nintendo previews a new jungle area in Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Heart of darkness

Two new Zelda: Breath of the Wild videos in one night? Everything’s coming up us!

Eiji Aonuma couldn’t make it to The Game Awards, but he delivered a “we’re busy finishing this game!” message and handed it off to a video of Nintendo Treehouse playing through a previously-unseen jungle area. Come for the accordion-playing parrot man, stay for Bill Trinen’s Great Failure.

Nintendo is sticking to its vague “2017” release target for Breath of the Wild on Wii U and Switch, and with the way this footage looks performance-wise, I am unquestionably going for the latter platform.
