While the Western localisation of Akiba’s Beat has recently been delayed, it looks like the game finally has a confirmed Japanese release date. On PlayStation 4, at least. The PlayStation Vita port has been delayed.

According to Gematsu, the release official release window for the port of Akiba’s Beat to Sony’s oft-neglected handheld platform has been changed from “winter 2016” to “pending.” At this point in time, there is no given reason for the delay.

Akiba’s Beat will be released on December 15 for PlayStation 4 in Japan, with the PlayStation Vita port coming out at a later date. It will be released in North America early 2017, but no specific dates have been announced. It is also unconfirmed as to whether or not this delay will affect the release of the game in the West.
