The names Gran Turismo and Polyphony Digital synonymous with delays, so it should come to no surprise that the wait for a PlayStation Portable version of Gran Turismo will be just a bit longer. And by “bit,” we mean probably a year or more.
Games Radar tells us that series creator Kazunori Yamauchi that he is still working on the title, but we shouldn’t expect it until after Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) is released. What? GT5? Gran Turismo 5: Prologue isn’t even out, and it was promised by December 13th of this year!
Yamaguchi says that GT PSP is penciled in for Christmas 2008. I’d love to get excited, but this was originally supposed to be a launch game.
