Even the monsters are cute in World of Final Fantasy

Love the Mist Dragon

You can’t escape the cuteness of World of Final Fantasy.

Due in October on PS4 and Vita, it takes place in a universe called Grymoire, where everything is chibi as hell. Square Enix should have gone with its original codename “most amazing place ever,” but Grymoire has a ring to it.

Anyway, Square Enix just shared a ton of new monster designs, including the Minotaur, Mimic Queen, Sea Snake, and the Mist Dragon — and they look vibrant, full of life, and great. I’m not sure how this project will actually play out beyond the nostalgia factor, but I’m interested.
