Pokémon Go is set to receive some more creatures today, according to a new post from Niantic. While the blog is incredibly light on details, we at least know there are 23 new monsters up for grabs. Polygon has confirmed around half of the list with some guesses as to the others, so that is a start. None of the creatures appear to be legendaries either, so no raid exclusive nonsense to fiddle with.

The currently confirmed available Pokémon are:

  • Whismur
  • Loudred
  • Exploud
  • Aron
  • Lairon
  • Aggron
  • Numel
  • Camerupt
  • Trapinch
  • Vibrava
  • Flygon
  • Cacnea
  • Cacturne
  • Lunatone
  • Solrock

I’m not sure how close this brings the app to completing gen 3, but we can’t be far off from Diamond and Pearl now.

More Pokémon originally from the Hoenn region are here! [Niantic]
