Hatsune Miku Project Diva X announced for Europe, Oceania, but only as a digital release

Collectors, prepare to import

Sega has, at long last, confirmed plans to release Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X in PAL territories.

The rhythm game will debut in Europe and Oceania on August 30, the same day as the previously-announced American launch date, as a digital-only release on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

For those in PAL territories keen on picking up a packaged version of the game, it looks like you’ll have to import a copy from Japan (where it’s already available) or deal with an American retailer.

A three-song gameplay demo will go live via PlayStation’s western storefronts on August 9.

P.S. If you’re curious, the game and demo will both be PlayStation TV compatible.
