Here’s a good long look at Horizon Zero Dawn

Good look and lookin’ good

Kratos has it all wrong. Hunting isn’t about encouraging your son to shoot an elk and then slowly and sadly sliding a knife into it. Hunting’s about sneaking up on a robomech, capping it in the back, and harvesting its components.

That’s not all that happened in Sony’s Horizon Zero Dawn trailer. We got eight minutes of hacking, riding, and brontosaurus-gifaffebots. Lotta good stuff going on in that sentence.

If all goes according to plan, this will be Horizon Zero Dawn‘s last E3. We recently learned that the game is coming out in February of 2017. By E3 next year, all this mech hunting will be old hat — hopefully good old hat.
