NISA’s Grand Kingdom launch is a mess

Everything’s amiss

Grand Kingdom, a new tactical role-playing game from Grand Knights History director Tomohiko Deguchi and Monochrome Corp., is launching later this month, but that launch is going anything but smoothly.

Nippon Ichi Software’s western branch planned to release the title in North America on June 21, but delivery of physical copies is being pushed back a week. It is now scheduled for a June 28 launch.

While the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game is still scheduled to make its previously-announced June 17 release date in Europe, there was a manufacturing error with the region’s limited edition packages, which were stuffed with 5-track sampler CDs, rather than a 15-song soundtrack. If you purchased the limited edition and receive the wrong disc, you can click here for a replacement.

As if that weren’t enough, there is an “unforeseen technical issue” with the PS4 demo, so that won’t be ready until Grand Kingdom launches. However, the PS Vita demo is already available.

Spike Chunsoft published Grand Kingdom in Japan last November.
