Remember a few months ago how we allegedly offered you, the pauper musician, a golden opportunity to win a full set of the much anticipated Rock Band in exchange for a mellifluous arrangement that would be trumpeted across the digital landscape as the Destructoid theme song? Remember the onslaught of formidable entries that followed, courtesy of members GuitarAtomik, Ninoog3, and our furry friend CosbyTron? And then, remember how I’ve neglected to consistently remind you of this swan song of a chance?
Alright, alright. I’ll take a few deserving (yet metaphorical) jabs to the baby maker. I’ll admit that I’ve severely lacked to inform you all what the hell is going on with this contest. But seeing as though Rock Band‘s public debut is due in, oh, 4 days and Chester can’t stop guzzling about how he got his cooties all over a copy a few days ago, those of you who haven’t entered with a song have a very good reason to do so now.
I’d like to bring to attention that “those of you” consists of x – 7; x being everyone and 7 being the number of artists who’ve submitted a song. Hardcore beginners algebra and my spider senses have thus concluded that I need a lot more entries. So switch off that Soulja Boi, channel your inner Slash, and give Destructoid something that’ll rust a nut in it’s metal stirrup.
