It’s not a great month
Yesterday, Jordan told us to temper our expectations for Xbox’s Games with Gold in May. That bar-lowering seems equally necessary when looking at PlayStation’s gratis offerings for the month. Sure, there will be something for some people, but it’s less than astounding as a whole.
Government-control simulator Tropico 5 on PS4 is probably the most high-profile of the five free games in May for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Table Top Racing: World Tour and Switch Galaxy Ultra are the other two PS4 titles.
On the PS3 side of things, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 is the sole legacy console game. Vita sees God of War: Ghost of Sparta and Switch Galaxy Ultra, the latter as a cross-play title.
Like we said: Underwhelming. That seems to be a recurring theme.
