Is Persona 5’s release date incoming? Suspicious countdown arrives

So, Persona 5 guys? Maybe if we’re lucky we’ll see it in our lifetime?

Just kidding. I mean, Atlus gets way too much guff for its lengthy design process. A powerhouse series like Persona has so many moving parts, and if they need a ton of time to get it right and deliver a timeless RPG we’ll be showing our posterity, they can have it.

But we may get a confirmation of some sort sooner than later. A countdown clock has appeared, counting down from 325 hours at the time of this writing — that would make the announcement on May 5. It’s not only listed under the Persona 5 site itself, but prominently has its logo plastered on it. We’ll see!
