Quantum Break is the ‘best-selling new Microsoft Studios IP of this generation’

Just with week one sales

The cross-media TV and gaming gamble paid off for Remedy and Microsoft, as they have just reported that Quantum Break is the “best-selling new Microsoft Studios IP of this generation.” Initially the game was selling like crazy over in the UK in physical form, but the success was later trumpeted by Microsoft as being a worldwide phenomenon.

Good on Shawn Ashmore too, honestly. Although he’s often criticized as Ice Man from the X-Men films, he’s been working his way up over the years, and I enjoyed him in the flawed Kevin Bacon vehicle The Following. Always nice to see The Wire alums Lance Reddick and Aidan Gillen get work too.

Just try to avoid the PC version until it’s fixed.
