Classic ‘Doughnut Drake’ skin will not be in Uncharted 4

Boston creams are the best doughnuts

Doughnut Drake, a staple of the Uncharted series since the first game, is no more. Speaking to GamesRadar, Naughty Dog creative director Neil Druckmann noted that he “didn’t want to have a laugh at someone’s expense,” and that he “thought we’d matured beyond that.” Apparently the model was done and the decision was reached to not include it in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

I find this change of heart really odd, because even as recent as the Nathan Drake Collection six months ago, they doubled-down on this skin. If you want something in your game to be a certain way, go for it.
