Atlus teases new Catherine game

Aimed at new recruits, Atlus had a 30-minute “Golden Employment Special” featuring interviews with staff of the newly founded Studio Zero. The title is a play on the television program in Catherine titled “Golden Playhouse” and is even hosted by the same character, Midnight Venus.

At the end, Midnight Venus says she’s excited for the new fantasy RPG (Project Re Fantasy), but ponders “But will there even be anything for me to do?  Maybe a lot of you are actually wondering?  This time, I will be the new heroine! Just kidding… Huh, the offer for my next job is on the table?”

It would be pretty sly to have a Catherine theme and one if it’s characters, voiced by the same actor, make such a tease if nothing was being planned. I’d totally be down for another Catherine, but not necessarily to play. I loved the story and characters of the original, but the block climbing was far too boring for me to bear.
