Dissidia arcade is getting a Final Fantasy IX themed update in March

I don’t hear a lot of talk about Final Fantasy IX in general, but there really should be. It’s one of the most memorable games in the series, from the colorful cartoony cast of characters to its locations. That includes Alexandria, which is going to make an appearance in the arcade edition of Dissidia Final Fantasy soon.

Exclusive in Japan at the moment, the new stage will be available in March, which will apparently evolve while the fight is happening. You can also see the lovely airships flying around randomly on the battleground. Zidane is the only character representing the IX crew at the moment, but more characters are going to be added by way of updates like this.
