Here I was just lamenting the need for more Dragon Quest in my life and who should come to my rescue but the only company capable of doing so with this particular property. During a live stream, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Builders 2 is in the works for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The sequel will add cooperative play, gliding mechanics and the ability to swim underwater.
The live steam is still going on as I type this up and I’ve embedded it below. You can catch the DQB2 footage around an hour and 10 minutes into it. I will update this story with more proper footage once it becomes available.
