Metal Gear Online may have a number of issues preventing it from achieving greatness, but it’s still a decent diversion, and a nice bonus on top of Metal Gear Solid V. Now it’s headed off of consoles, as MGO is entering a limited beta phase starting today. If everything goes according to plan it will launch at 10PM PT later today.
It’s a nice gesture that the team is still trying to salvage this game, but with Kojima’s input gone, I’m not super hopeful for the future of the franchise now, or at any point in the future.
